Fallout PC Mods

if the game was awesome at first try the mods i personally use the monster mod to get cooler enemies and Classic Fallout Weapons to upgrade my arsenol if you want to mod the game you'll need to go to newvegasnexus.com and use my account shaper99 and password firas to get free fast and easy mods, oh and P.S download the mod manager for an easy way to arrange mods and get FNVedit to merge your files if you need help or can't decide on a mod comment and i'll help you step by step and also sorry but PC only i know how you feel console users but the base game is awesome but after 12+ playthroughs a mod or 2 makes it all the cooler.

Re Playability

In this game you can play in many ways depending on which factions you team up with and who you kill or save and even the different ways to do a quest.

for example i played as a comrade to the NCR and saved hoover damn and captured the strip for them in this i had to kill Ceaser and Mr. house along with Benny as well i had to do their quests ahead of the rest and i beat the game with all 6 companions unlocked and saved everyone in most quests and i did it using mainly energy weapons.

so you see this and i could replay the game in any combination ranging from using melee weapons to killing a companion or choosing to be with Ceaser so for the most part i played this game around 16 different times in different ways and each playthrough took me 86 hours 50 minutes and roughly 22 seconds (keep in mind I'm a perfectionist so i found all locations did every quest and killed all the people required as well as reach level 30 with max skills) and that's the base game alone with DLC's the possibilities are endless and not to mention it's a great game I'd recommend it to everyone parents teachers students even strangers right now ultimate edition is out with all the DLC's and the game only $40 go try it and finally if you need help comment now.

Gameplay Part 2 LLevel-Ups and Perksand SPEACIAL

During your progress in the game you are given XP depending on what you did, 10xp for killing lower level or easy enemies, or 250 for killing legendary creatures such as the legendary deathclaw, and if you reach a set amount of xp you level up, up to level 30 in the base game and 50 with all DLC's as well every even level (2, 4, 6, 8, etc) you are awarded a perk which requires specific level, skill, and in some cases special (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and, Luck more info later),  perks range from more damage silent movement to more carry weight.

SPECIAL are as aformentioned the basis of skills you are given a base of five in each one and set amount off points to upgrade with during character creation so lets talk about it now. Strength effects your carry capacity base of 100 at 0 points up to 250 at 10 as well some heavy weapons need a strength requirnment to wield them, Perception is your ability to use your composs to detect enemies better and energy weapons usage, Endurance is your health and damage ressistence as well as implant capacity, Charisma affects barter and speech, Intelligence dictates science medicine as well as skill points used per level up 2 per inteligence, Agility is your action points as well as ease of gun usage, Luck affects everyting a little bit.

Gameplay Part 1 the skill sets

Now this is my favourite part of fallout New Vegas and it is what separates it from any other game, first of the skill sets: Barter helps with making deals and gives discounts in stores, Energy weps helps with damage and accuracy with these weapons as well every weapon requires a base level in order to use it properly such as a plasma pistol requires a Lvl 20 in this skill, Explosives allows use of explosives properly be it grenades or launchers and also gives crafting explosives at a workbench, Guns, same as energy weapons but use bullets not batteries, Lockpick allows for opening locked doors and loot containers, Medicine gives you medicine buffs such as more healing from the games medkits called stimpacks, Melee weps are same as other weps but while using objects such as baseball bats and golf clubs, Repair is for repairing damaged weapons and Armour as well as crafting many items in the workbench and ammo bench, Science is for hacking computers and making medical supplies, Sneak allows stealth movements and when using stealth armours or stealth gadgets, Survival is food based and making poison and edibles in campfires, Speech is used for manipulation of individuals whether it be discounts or information you couldn't get otherwise, Unarmed is similar to melee but it uses your hands whether it be power fists or brass knuckles or if all else fails your bare hands.

The Enviornment

The environment in the game is set in the Mojave wasteland, in Las Vegas after the nuclear war of 2077, it was renamed new Vegas to begin its revival, due to the hoover damn there is "actual" energy to be used in the game where as Fallout 3 the electricity came from who knows, probably the Jefferson memorial nuclear reactor.

The main areas where basically desert, and one snowy mountain, and most indoors areas are decapitated ruins of former places, such as tool factories or residential homes even some army bases pretty cool and fun places to explore.

although in cities or towns, there are several homes to explore and casino's found in the strip, new vegas's capital,

as well, in evey major settlement, there will be shops, some may be general, some specific, but all stores will sell supplies such as guns and ammo even meds and armors.

Character and Factions

Characters are varied in this game, the Courier (you) is the main protagonist and in the base game the antagonist(s) are Benny, followed by depending on your affiliation Mr. house or, Ceasers' Legion or, The NCR or, combinations. The other thing is that enemy characters in the game tend to vary from powder gangers (convicts / gangsters) to The NCR (military corps). but mainly the main quest characters are citizens that give you quests and some faction specific quests from a friend or foe and in some cases companions may give you quests to upgrade their skills but for the most part characters here are basic AI that have few sentences and the quest givers are the only real interactions here.

Benny Be Damned

Bethesda sure knows how enter with a "bang" literally, that is seeing as you start your adventure into the Mojave in a doctors office, after being shot in the head and saved by a wandering securitron named Jack.

They say a game is is only as good as it's 5 basic features: 1) its plot 2) its characters 3) its environment 4) its game play and 5) its re playability.

So what does that hold for FNV? well for this post lets start with its plot shall we?

You are a courier for the Mojave express, and you where tasked to deliver a package, but then you where ambushed, shot in the head, and buried in a shallow grave, left to rot but that's only the beginning cut scene, the game starts when doc Mitchel fixes you up and you go through character creation, you choose your gender looks and baseline skills. From there your mission starts, you search for your "killers" and do some missions on the way, meeting unique and colourful people, some are friends, and some are foes, and some are uniquely inclined to help in your endeavours, they are your comrades and only 1/4 humans and 1/2 non-humans may be deployed with you at any given time, but the main mission is revenge followed by picking a side and ruling the mojave so your welcome for a spoiler free explanation.

P.S -the game has over 50-100+ (with all 4 main DLC's)
-the game also includes over 80 Hours of gameplay and at least 6 ways to play

the next post shall be its characters if you need anything please comment and enter the polls
